美国总统日(Presidents' Day), 官方名称为华盛顿诞辰(Washington's Birthday), 是美国联邦法定假日,为纪念美国首任总统乔治·华盛顿的生日(1732年2月22日),每年二月的第三个星期一为“总统日”; 由于另一位伟大的美国总统亚伯拉罕·林肯也是2月生日(1809年2月12日), 因此节日通常纪念多位对美国有重大贡献的总统。

The Star-Spangled Banner(或稱星條旗之歌,直译為星光灿烂的旗帜)是美國的國歌,歌詞取自美国律师、业余诗人弗朗西斯·斯科特·基1814年9月14日所作的詩歌《保衛麥克亨利堡》(Defence of Fort M'Henry),歌曲取自英国作曲家约翰·斯塔福德·史密斯所作的《致天堂里的阿那克里翁》,《星條旗》的曲跨越了19個半音,以演唱難度高而著稱; 雖然《星條旗》有四組歌詞,但現今幾乎只唱第一組歌詞,不唱其他歌詞,尤其是第三組帶有反英情緒的歌詞;而蘇沙的著名進行曲《星条旗永不落》因译名混淆而经常被誤認為是美国国歌,是不正确的。
