Mall During COVID-19

Striding down the street,

I see no one

sitting on benches.

In front of the shops,

Looking into stores,

Few people are

here and there

with masks on.

 

It was only a few months ago,

Stores were full of people.

Girls searched T-shirts.

Boys went through games.

Ladies looked for dresses.

Husbands stood behind wives

Holding their bags and clothes that

Wives were going to try on.

Kids ran along aisles and

Hid behind clothes

Showing their little heads

Between clothes

Laughing and playing.

 

Today

People rush in and out of stores.

The Mall is the same

But different.

购物街上

空无一人

商店门口长椅上

也空无一人

空旷的商店内

静悄悄

虽有几个人

却还捂着厚厚口罩

 

才几个月前

同一个地方

店内熙熙攘攘

姑娘挑选裙衫

男孩搜寻游戏

女士们把礼服试穿

先生欣赏的看着爱人

拎着爱人的包包

优雅得像个绅士

孩子们嬉闹

躲在货架后面

又诡异的露出笑脸

期待爸妈把自己找见

 

今天

春去秋来

但好像季节并未变换

人们匆匆进出

口罩😷 下

是凝重的脸

好像时间凝噎

依然停滞在阴霾的冬天
