2月15日,新京报书评周刊第八期“疫期读书”,刊发著名教育家、武汉大学前校长刘道玉关于新冠肺炎疫情的呼吁文章。已87岁高龄的老先生,身处疫情暴发地武汉,虽“生活规律被打乱”,然也在做好自我防护同时,不忘时刻关注疫情。文中他表示“没有心情写作,也没有心情再阅读”。且由于“看到太多悲壮故事”,并认为这次疫情“有太多饱含血泪的教训”,故呼吁:全国同胞痛定痛,吸取教训,有必要就疫情进行一场全国启蒙。
